He gladly accepted our invitation once more and held an intensive three‑day training session in Budapest for our volunteers and their dogs.

Thilo actively participates in more than a hundred real cases each year, giving him outstanding expertise in mantrailing and tracking.
Throughout the three‑day training, he did not rely on general templates for planning the exercises. Instead, each dog handler with his dog received personalised tasks tailored to their strengths and areas for improvement. By jointly analysing challenging situations and offering practical, experience‑based guidance, he enriched us not only with knowledge but also with motivation. This personalised approach is especially valuable to us, as understanding the unique characteristics of both the dog and the handler is essential in search and rescue work.

We were particularly delighted that Thilo devoted special attention to our youngest puppy during the training. Advice given at an early stage has a long‑term impact on a dog’s future performance, so it was extremely valuable to have such an experienced professional oversee the puppy’s development.

It is a great honour for us that Thilo once again dedicated his time to us and selflessly shared his expertise. He has been a returning guest for years, and each visit brings new momentum to our team.

We are grateful for his support, guidance, and for helping our search and rescue dogs and volunteers continuously improve so that we can serve even more effectively in locating missing persons.
