A Mantrailing Akad\u00e9mia Alap\u00edtv\u00e1ny 2026. tavasz\u00e1n ism\u00e9t megszervezte haz\u00e1nkban az International Bloodhound Training Institute (INBTI) h\u00e1romnapos nemzetk\u00f6zi szemin\u00e1rium\u00e1t Budapesten. Az elm\u00falt \u00e9vekhez hasonl\u00f3an ez\u00fattal is k\u00fclf\u00f6ldi, nagy tapasztalattal rendelkez\u0151, hivat\u00e1sos instruktorokat h\u00edvtunk meg, hogy seg\u00edts\u00e9k a kutya-gazda p\u00e1rosok munk\u00e1j\u00e1t. Hivat\u00e1sos kutyavezet\u0151k\u00e9nt akt\u00edvan alkalmazz\u00e1k a Kocher-m\u00f3dszert a mantrailinges kuty\u00e1k kik\u00e9pz\u00e9s\u00e9ben \u00e9s a bevet\u00e9seken. Kiemelt hangs\u00falyt kapott a kommunik\u00e1ci\u00f3, k\u00fcl\u00f6n\u00f6sen a kutya finom jelz\u00e9seinek \u00e9rtelmez\u00e9se, valamint a tudatos, k\u00f6lcs\u00f6n\u00f6s figyelmen alapul\u00f3 egy\u00fcttm\u0171k\u00f6d\u00e9s. Az el\u0151ad\u00f3k r\u00e1mutattak, hogy a sikeres nyomkidolgoz\u00e1s nem csup\u00e1n technikai k\u00e9rd\u00e9s, hanem egy \u00f6sszetett, dinamikus csapatmunka eredm\u00e9nye.

The Mantrailing Academy Foundation once again organised the three\u2011day international seminar of the International Bloodhound Training Institute (INBTI) in Hungary in the spring of 2026, held in Budapest. As in previous years, we invited highly experienced professional instructors from abroad to support the work of the dog\u2013handler teams. As professional dog handlers, they actively apply the Kocher method in both mantrailing dog training and real deployments. This year, Bernhard Stummer<\/strong> (Austria) and Ernest Capdevila<\/strong> (Spain) joined us as instructors, while Hungarian instructors were Csaba Gr\u00e1nicz<\/strong> and Tibor Simon<\/strong>. We were also delighted to welcome assistant instructor Adriana Petrovic <\/strong>from Slovenia, who attended the event with her partner, Matic Bahor. In addition to Hungarian participants, dog handlers from Austria and Romania also joined the seminar.
\nThe first day began with a ceremonial welcome of the international instructors and an introduction to their professional backgrounds, setting a high\u2011level, international tone for the event. This was followed by comprehensive and thought\u2011provoking presentations by Bernhard Stummer and Ernest Capdevila. Their central topics included the complexity of balanced scent\u2011trail work, establishing the appropriate level of motivation, and maintaining focused trailing. They explained in detail how a dog\u2019s motivation, concentration, and natural arousal level must align, and how this harmony influences the accuracy and reliability of scent\u2011trailing. Special emphasis was placed on communication, particularly on interpreting the dog\u2019s subtle signals and on conscious, mutually attentive cooperation. The speakers highlighted that successful scent\u2011trail work is not merely a technical task but the result of complex, dynamic teamwork.
\nAfter the presentations, the practical training sessions began. Throughout the weekend, participants worked with their dogs in diverse, stimulus\u2011rich environments under the professional guidance of the instructors. The trainers placed great emphasis on personalised exercises designed to help each dog\u2013handler team focus on their own strengths and areas for improvement. They also prepared special situational tasks, such as casting, which offered participants new perspectives on mantrailing.
\nDog handlers had the opportunity to discuss long\u2011standing challenges with the instructors in depth, whether related to motivational difficulties or interpreting their dog\u2019s behaviour. The trainers provided not only practical guidance but also long\u2011term advice to support future training.
\nAt the conclusion of the seminar, the instructors personally presented the official INBTI certificates to the participants.
